2. Quotations and estimates
- Quotations are based on the scope of work discussed and, where applicable, a site visit.
- Unless stated otherwise on the quotation, quotations remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- A quotation is a fixed price for the work described. An estimate is a considered guide and the final price may vary once the work is under way.
- Work outside the quoted scope will be discussed with you and agreed in writing before it is carried out, and will be charged separately.
3. Booking, deposits and payment
- Your booking is confirmed once you accept the quotation in writing and, where a deposit applies, once that deposit is received.
- For landscaping projects a deposit of [DEPOSIT PERCENTAGE TO BE CONFIRMED] is payable to secure your slot and cover materials.
- Regular garden maintenance is invoiced [BILLING CYCLE TO BE CONFIRMED].
- Invoices are payable within [PAYMENT TERMS TO BE CONFIRMED] days of the invoice date.
- We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where the customer is a business.
4. Site access and preparation
- You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the working area on the agreed dates, including access for machinery and materials where this has been discussed.
- Please tell us before work begins about any underground services, cables, pipes, drains, irrigation, lighting or other hidden items. We cannot be held responsible for damage to items we were not made aware of.
- Please keep pets and children away from the working area while our team is on site.
- Where access has been agreed but is not available on the day, we reserve the right to charge for the lost visit.
5. Weather and rescheduling
Garden work is weather dependent. Where conditions make work unsafe, impractical or likely to damage your garden, we will contact you and reschedule to the next available suitable date at no additional charge.
6. Cancellation
- Where you are a consumer and the contract was agreed away from our premises, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract. If you ask us to start work within that period and then cancel, we may charge for the work completed and materials ordered.
- For scheduled maintenance visits, please give us at least [NOTICE PERIOD TO BE CONFIRMED] notice to cancel or move a visit.
- Bespoke or specially ordered materials cannot be cancelled once ordered.
7. Plants, turf and living materials
Plants, turf, seed and other living materials are supplied healthy and appropriate to the site. Because their survival depends on aftercare, weather and conditions outside our control, we cannot guarantee establishment unless you have an ongoing maintenance agreement with us. We will always give you clear aftercare guidance.
8. Workmanship guarantee
Our hard landscaping workmanship is guaranteed for [GUARANTEE PERIOD TO BE CONFIRMED] from completion. The guarantee covers defects arising from our workmanship. It does not cover fair wear and tear, ground movement, damage caused by third parties, misuse, or failure to follow aftercare guidance. Manufacturer warranties on supplied products are passed on to you where they exist.
9. Waste and green waste
Unless your quotation says otherwise, removal and disposal of green waste and site waste is included in the quoted price and is carried out in line with our waste carrier obligations. Removal of hazardous material, including asbestos, is not included and will be quoted separately.
10. Insurance and liability
- We hold public liability insurance. Details are available on request.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
- Subject to the above, our total liability in connection with any contract is limited to the price paid for the work in question.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of our work, please tell us as soon as possible on 07534 228856 or at enquiries@springforward-landscaping.co.uk so we can put it right. We aim to acknowledge complaints within [COMPLAINT RESPONSE TIME TO BE CONFIRMED] working days.

We may photograph completed work for our portfolio, website and social media. We will not identify your address, and we will not use photographs of your garden if you ask us not to.
13. Data protection
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
