In September 2018, Adam turned his passion for horticulture and landscaping into a thriving venture—Spring Forward. With a rich and varied background spanning from hands-on experience at a local farm and arboretum to working with Network Rail, he developed a deep understanding of outdoor spaces and how to bring them to life.

Armed with a small Peugeot Partner van, a pair of green fingers, and an ambitious vision, Adam set out on a mission to transform gardens across Worcestershire. His dedication to craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces quickly earned him a loyal client base.

At Spring Forward, Adam combines traditional expertise with innovative solutions to help homeowners and businesses make the most of their green spaces. Whether it’s breathing new life into overgrown gardens or designing bespoke landscapes that blend aesthetics with practicality, his work is driven by passion, precision, and the joy of seeing a space flourish.

Lorna

Marketing Manager

Lorna

Since joining Spring Forward in December 2019, Lorna has been the driving force behind the business’s expansion, supporting Adam with the administrative and marketing aspects of the company. Her keen understanding of branding and customer engagement has helped Spring Forward grow its presence across Worcestershire, connecting with more clients and showcasing the company’s exceptional work.

From crafting engaging marketing campaigns to managing communications, Lorna ensures that Spring Forward remains visible and accessible to homeowners and businesses alike. Her dedication to promoting the company’s vision has played a key role in building strong customer relationships and reinforcing Spring Forward’s reputation for quality and craftsmanship.

Joining the business also allowed Lorna the flexibility to balance work with raising their four energetic children—a full-time role in itself! Whether she’s driving marketing initiatives or managing a bustling household, Lorna brings creativity, passion, and commitment to everything she does.

Jess

Business Administrator

Jess

As the administrator for Spring Forward Landscaping, Jess plays a crucial role in keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes. With eight years of experience in administrative work and a background in sales, she brings a wealth of expertise in customer service, organisation, and business operations.

Jess transitioned into administration when she started her family, seeking a career that offered the flexibility she needed while allowing her to apply her skills in a meaningful way. Since joining Spring Forward, she has found the perfect balance—working with a friendly, family-run company while supporting its continued growth and success.

Outside of work, Jess’s life is a whirlwind of energy and laughter as she keeps up with her three lively children. When she does find moments for herself, she enjoys going to the gym and swimming—activities that help her recharge.

Her ideal garden? A charming cottage-style retreat, filled with rambling roses, secluded seating areas, and, most importantly, a beautiful water feature that adds a touch of tranquility to the space.

Chris

Garden Maintenance Team Leader

Chris

With over 15 years of experience in horticulture and a National Diploma in the field, Chris has dedicated his career to breathing life back into neglected gardens. As Spring Forward’s Garden Maintenance Team Leader, he takes pride in restoring overgrown beds and borders, giving them the care and attention they need to be enjoyed once again. His keen eye for detail and deep understanding of plants ensure that every outdoor space he works on flourishes.

Chris has a particular passion for cottage gardens, where long, flowing herbaceous borders create a natural, picturesque setting. Among his favourite plants are the striking Cynara cardunculus (cardoon) and the towering Echium pininana, both of which add dramatic, architectural interest to a garden.

When he’s not tending to landscapes, Chris enjoys spending his free time on the golf course, watching motorsport, or taking long walks with his dog. His love for the outdoors extends beyond his profession, making his work not just a job, but a true passion.

Tony

Landscape Labourer

Tony

Tony is a dedicated and reliable member of the Spring Forward team, bringing over a decade of experience from the construction industry. Since joining in June 2023, he has applied his diverse skill set to landscaping, using his expertise to craft beautiful, functional, and serene outdoor spaces. His ability to transform gardens into peaceful retreats reflects his passion for creating environments that offer calmness and relaxation throughout the changing seasons.

With a strong foundation in construction, Tony understands the importance of precision, durability, and thoughtful design when shaping outdoor spaces. Whether it’s enhancing garden structures, refining layouts, or ensuring a harmonious blend of natural elements, his attention to detail helps bring every project to life.

Outside of work, Tony leads an active lifestyle. He plays football for a local team, enjoys the adventure of camping and surfing, and values quality time with his family. His love for the outdoors not only fuels his hobbies but also inspires his approach to landscaping—creating spaces where people can unwind, connect with nature, and enjoy the beauty of their surroundings.
