Spring Forward is a family-run landscaping and garden maintenance business based in Worcester. We build patios, walls, lawns and planting schemes, and we look after gardens week in, week out for homeowners across the county.

Because we're a small team, the people we bring in make a real difference. You'll work alongside people who take pride in a tidy site and a perfect finish, and you'll have a genuine say in how we do things.

  • Landscaping Team Leader

    £30,000 to £33,000 a year. Lead our landscaping crew on site, building patios, walls, fencing and lawns to a high standard.

    Join our landscaping crew and learn from experienced team leaders on a real variety of garden builds.

  • Garden Maintenance Team Leader

    Run one of our maintenance teams on regular visits, keeping customers' gardens at their best through the seasons.

Landscaping Team Leader

£30,000 to £33,000 a year Full time Permanent Monday to Friday Company van

Are you a skilled landscaper who takes pride in a perfect finish and is ready to run your own crew? You'll lead our design and build team on garden projects for homeowners across Worcestershire, with the support of a small office team behind you.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading our landscaping crew on site, day to day
  • Building patios, paving, walls, fencing, new decking and drainage to a high standard
  • Turfing, soil preparation and planting
  • Reading plans, setting out, and getting levels and falls right first time
  • Running plant safely, including a mini-digger, dumper, rotavator, turf cutter and wacker plate
  • Keeping customers updated and leaving every site clean and tidy
  • Helping with site surveys and material orders, and planning the work with the office

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years' hands-on hard landscaping experience
  • Experience running a site or leading others
  • A full UK driving licence, as you'll drive the company van between sites
  • Pride in your work, reliability and a friendly, professional manner in customers' homes
  • Desirable: B+E trailer entitlement, CPCS or NPORS tickets, a CSCS card, an NVQ in Landscaping or Horticulture, first aid

Landscaper

Salary depends on experience Full time Permanent Monday to Friday

Join our landscaping crew and help build gardens our customers are proud of. Whether you've a few years under your belt or you're earlier in your career and keen to learn, you'll work alongside experienced team leaders on a real variety of projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing ground and bases for patios, paths and walls
  • Laying paving, building walls and putting up fencing with the team
  • Turfing, soil preparation and planting
  • Helping with groundworks, drainage and moving materials around site
  • Using tools and plant safely, with training where you need it
  • Keeping the site tidy and treating every customer's home with care

What we're looking for

  • Some landscaping, groundworks or construction experience, or a real willingness to learn
  • Reliability, good timekeeping and a strong work ethic
  • Happy working outdoors through the seasons as part of a close team
  • Desirable: a full UK driving licence, a CSCS card, plant tickets

Garden Maintenance Team Leader

Salary depends on experience Full time Permanent Monday to Friday Company van

Lead one of our garden maintenance teams on regular visits to homes across Worcestershire. Our customers see the same familiar faces each time, so you'll get to know their gardens, and them, really well.

What you'll be doing

  • Running your team's day, working through the scheduled visits in our Sortscape app
  • Mowing, edging, hedge cutting, pruning, weeding and border care, timed right for the season
  • Following our visit checklist so every garden gets the same high standard
  • Chatting with customers about their garden and what they'd like done
  • Spotting things early, like disease, a failing fence post or poor drainage, and flagging them to the office
  • Looking after the van and equipment, and making sure green waste is taken away responsibly

What we're looking for

  • An NVQ Level 3 in Horticulture, which all our gardeners hold
  • Experience of professional garden maintenance, ideally including leading others
  • Good plant knowledge and an eye for detail
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A friendly, trustworthy manner with customers in their own homes and gardens
  • Desirable: PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates, first aid

Gardener

Salary depends on experience Full time Permanent Monday to Friday

Join one of our garden maintenance teams, looking after a regular round of gardens across Worcestershire. You'll see the same customers visit after visit, and watch the difference your work makes through the seasons.

What you'll be doing

  • Lawn mowing and care, edging and strimming
  • Hedge cutting and pruning at the right time of year
  • Weeding, border care, deadheading and seasonal planting
  • Following our visit checklist so nothing gets missed
  • Clearing up and taking green waste away at the end of every visit
  • Helping with one-off tidies and clearances from time to time

What we're looking for

  • An NVQ Level 3 in Horticulture
  • Some experience of professional garden maintenance
  • Care, attention to detail and pride in a tidy finish
  • Reliability and good timekeeping
  • Desirable: a full UK driving licence, PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates
