What a May It’s Been!
May is always a special month in the horticultural world but this year, it was extra special for everyone here at Spring Forward Landscaping Ltd. We had the honour of lending our skills, our hands, and our hearts to one of the most meaningful projects we’ve been involved in to date: supporting the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2026.
We couldn’t be prouder, and we’re absolutely buzzing to share the story with you. The RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2026!
For those who don’t know, the RHS Malvern Spring Festival is the Royal Horticultural Society’s first major show of the year and 2026 did not disappoint. Held at the stunning Three Counties Showground in Malvern, Worcestershire from 7th–11th May, this year’s festival centred on the theme ‘Roots of the Future’, celebrating modern innovations whilst celebrating the rich traditions in gardening.
From spectacular outdoor show gardens to the RHS-judged indoor plant gardens, the showground was alive with innovation, creativity, and colour all set against the breath-taking backdrop of the Malvern Hills. It truly is one of the UK’s finest horticultural events, and being part of it was an experience our team will never forget.
Why the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust?
The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust is a Worcester-based charity doing vital, life-changing work. They support families affected by childhood cancer, fund cutting-edge research, and tirelessly raise awareness for earlier diagnosis because every child deserves a tomorrow.
Childhood cancer remains one of the leading causes of death in children, and organisations like the Grace Kelly Trust are absolutely essential in fighting back against that. When the opportunity came for us to get involved and support their presence at Malvern, there was absolutely no hesitation from our team. It aligned perfectly with our values because great landscaping isn’t just about beautiful spaces, it’s about communities and the people within them.
How Spring Forward Got Involved
This is the part we’re most excited to tell you about! Our team donated their time and expertise to help build the main structure for the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust’s installation at the show.
That meant early mornings, hard graft, and a whole lot of teamwork and we loved every single second of it. Our landscapers brought everything they had to ensure the structure was built beautifully, safely, and to a standard worthy of such an important cause.
Seeing it come together, knowing it was helping to shine a spotlight on childhood cancer awareness in front of thousands of show visitors, was genuinely one of those “why we do what we do” moments for our whole team.
