From tired and worn out to a stylish tiered garden

The Brief

After working from home this client wanted a garden that looked far from its current tired and worn state. Over the years it had become a neglected and unused space that was full of potential and was in need of a revival.

The shared solution

Whilst there was a slope from the back fence to the patio the client was keen to incorporate this into the new design. The first task was to rebuild the retaining wall with fresh bricks and borders created behind for plants to be introduced where worn grass was once.

Grey slate replaced the outdated and crumbling slabs which enabled a seamless and elegant transition from house to garden. Sleeper beds were built as the client was keen to grow their own veg. The upper area was treated to yellow self-binding gravel and is now an outdoor area to enjoy.
