The brief

After years of having an overgrown and neglected garden the client wanted an outdoor space that they could enjoy all year around.

Shared solution

Due to the steep incline in the garden it was decided that tiers would be installed/retained using Rsjs and sleepers with top soil filled to create lavish beds for planting at a later date. A new patio was laid by the house as an extension of the living area for the client to enjoy the Spring and Summer mornings admiring the flourishing gardens with a cup of tea in hand.

A turfed area was then positioned between the patio and tiered beds to establish a soft area for the grandchildren to enjoy and explore the world around them.
